Stella Brown

Welcome! I’m a senior at Skidmore College, majoring in Sociology and Gender Studies. I find fulfillment in understanding how institutions, norms, and inequality impact people’s lives. I believe it’s necessary, empowering, and hopeful to explore how groups use their agency and voice to resist oppression. I’m passionate about uplifting subjugated knowledge and strive to use my individual actions to better society. Outside the classroom, you’ll find me at the Van Lennep Riding Center where I work with teammates, coaches, and horses to sustain our nationally ranked IHSA Equestrian Team.
